One more award for what may be our most used freeware, 'File Renamer' was received, this time from SharewarePlaza, were our freeware has been exposed for quite some time now.

For the - very few, I hope - people that don't yet know this small utility to rename files and folders, it has been around for quite some time now.

As all other freeware that we publish, it is a self contained program with no install - so not to place files all over your hard disk (I hate when this happens!!) - and that can rename any file and/or folder, with lots of options. Just extract it from the archive and place it anywere you choose.

Thanks to a few users - just 2 in fact - that care to send us feedback and debug it, it has evolved quite a lot in the past few months.

As always, all freeware that we produce can be downloaded from our freeware page and be used by anyone - for more info just read the accompanying text file, inside the zip archive.

And, of course, all donations, postcards, etc. are always welcome!

As mentioned in the main page, everything related to our freeware will have this dedicated space for everyone to discuss the freeware, send questions and suggestions.

Hopefully, donations will also increase a bit, as we have had a few hundred thousand downloads all trough those few years and only 31 people have cared to donate a few $$ - many thanks to those few that cared!

Come on people, this is freeware and everybody is free to use it, well, freely.

But the cost of maintaining the free webxpace site rolling really exists - not to speak of all the development hours involved with the software - and a few cents are not that much, right?

Anyway, I hope to see you here often, with your questions, requests and suggestions, as this is the only way this small utilities will grow to be more useful to everyone!

We have had a few hundred thousand downloads from our freeware page trough all those few years and, from the email feedback received, the list of users is quite big.

Oddly, all questions and suggestions have always been sent by email directly to me, instead of being posted on our forum board - go figure why!

It would be nice - and I believe more useful for everyone - for people to post on our freeware blog from now on, as everyone would benefit from other people's opinions and - hopefully not - from any bugs found...

Any updates and corrections to the freeware will be posted there too so, if you want to keep informed, check there often as development has been quite active, if I may say so myself.

At long last we have 'evolved' and joined the weblog ('blog' for short) comunity! We have had a forum for a while now, but users didn't seem to like it, as nobody was posting after all those months, and it was only used by me as a simple news posting board...

Hopefully, we will have a little more people caring to post here all the ideas, questions, doubts, comments and suggestions about our services, our software, our freeware, and everything else he/she wishes to discuss or let everybody else know about.

I will be here everyday to read and answer your comments and questions - and to delete the ones I deem to be improper for the weblog (sorry).
