'File splitter' freeware has been updated to 0.1.0.9.

Thanks to Roman Strecha for calling my attention to a bug that was there since the beginning, regarding the fixed 1.44Mb size, for floppy drives.. In fact, the size should be 1.38MB after formatting, as 1.44MB is the unformatted capacity of the diskette; and we got so used to this number that I had forgotten this

So, you can now download this new corrected version from our freeware page.

And our freeware 'Web Downloader' has been updated to version 1.0.2.0, passing trough a lot of small versions so fast, that I didn't post all those here !!

A lot more options are showing in 'preferences', letting you configure almost everything necessary to not even see the software's window. In fact, if you chose to show it's icon in the tray instead of the windows taskbar - a new option also - and choose a few options, you can add, rename, download all, stop and exit, with 'web downloader' minimized. You can now also start the software already minimized, among a few other improvements.

This software has evolved quite a bit in the past week or so, due to our users Marc Desbiens and Bert van Velsen sending so many good suggestions, that I couldn't help but to add those to this software - and a few more yet to come next ! Thank you, Marc and Bert

Our Industrial production and stocks software has been updated to version 1.0.2.3, now with the possibility of working in 'shared' database situations, that is, with one only database accessible from more than one computer and every user working with the same data.

It already was able to work like this, of course, but as it was not so straight forward an instalation, we had to install the software ourselves, as we did on a few local users. Now, it is possible for everyone to use it like this automatically, on install.

The freeware'Web Downloader' has been updated to version 1.0.1.4.

If you check preferences, a few more options are available, that allow you to configure the way the software works, namely:
- to enable (or not) the 'change file's name on adding'
- don't show message 'alert on finish all downloads'
- 'start downloads now', to start as soon as adding an item
- automatically delete items when download has finished

Those changes - and a few other to come shortly - were done based on the suggestions of Marc Desbiens, so thanks Marc!

Just a quick note to let you all know that some of our freeware has had another update, with some small improvements.

The free software updates were: 'File Renamer' (of course) to version 1.1.5.4, 'Web Downloader' to version 1.0.1.2 and 'ToDo Reminder' to 1.1.0.5.

A new release and update to 'Software Submitter', the software to assist software authors to submit their work across the internet, is now available.

A different and improved way to select sites and products to submit is now available, as is a help file for the software. Also, a lot of internal code improvements and a few bugs corrected. A few more sites have also been added to the commercial version.

You may download a trial version of this software from our webpage, being the only limitation of this trial version the list of submit sites reduced to just 10 sites...

There is a new update to 'Software Submitter', the very same software we use ourselves to submit our software and freeware to software sites across the internet, with very good results !

A few bugs have been cleaned, and a few more sites added - as always, all registered users will receive this update immediately.

For all other users, just download a free trial version, free to use for as much time as you want, and test it. When you are happy with it, just buy the full version, with a lot more sites to submit, instead of only the 12 of trial version, and let your software be known by everyone!

Our freeware utility, 'ToDo Reminder' has been updated, up to version 1.1.0.3, this time due to a small bug on the latest update !!

Thanks to our user Torbergur Olafsson that cared enough to send us feedback on this. The bug was showing anytime the software was run for the very first time only, and was preventing anyone of testing this freeware... If you were already using this and already had a list of todo jobs on it, you wouln't notice it anyway.

So, go download this new version from our freeware page, and... have fun!

And another update to 'File renamer', with the addition of a new option, to create new names for all filenames in list.

You can define new names, starting with a [prefix] plus a sequential [number] plus a [suffix]; each one of the 3 is optional, except the [number] part - or you will end with a bunch of files with the same name!

A few more small bugs corrected, and 2 new buttons on the right side, for some simple functions.
