Softpedia has just approved our newest software, Software Submitter as being fully clean, that is, it contains no adware, spyware or virus of any kind.

This is nothing that we didn't already know ourselves, of course, but that's always good to have a third party - like this well known and trusted Softpedia site - certifying all our software.

And, of course, all our other software and freeware has also been checked and approved by them, as you can see here.

And again, our most used freeware, 'File renamer', has been updated.

So, a few options were removed as they were obviously unnecessary. For example, 'Add to begin of file name' is really the same as 'Add at 0 chars from begin', isn't it? I just resisted removing those, as they were the ones I used most, and just got used to using it

Also, there is now a simple Help file to get you trough using this software, with a brief explanation of each option and it's use. It's by far incomplete, I know, but I will add to it with time. After all, this is freeware and time never seems to be enough, isn't it?

Well, and I hope I didn't introduce any new bugs in the process - could happen as I changed quite a few things internally... (hope not)

Our small freeware utility, 'ToDo Reminder' has been updated, up to version 1.0.9.10.

Thanks to some good suggestions from user Joop van Gent, this freeware has suffered a few changes, namely it's window that is now resizable - something a long time due, as a few other people had already mentioned it... Also, there is a new option to set a timer to remind the user of every 'note' there is for today's date - a useful idea, thank you Joop

And, of course, you can always download this freeware from our freeware page.

'Web Downloader' freeware has been updated again, to version 1.0.0.10.

Some more bugs solved, a little faster now. Time display has been changed from just counting time in progress to showing aprox. time left for completing the job - a liitle more useful now... As a note, for technical minded people, this software uses windows 'wininet' library to contact sites and manage downloads.

Thanks to some more good suggestions from Melvyn Misquita, the small box on the side is finally gone - this was really a reminiscent of the old original program, so I also agree it is time for it to go! So, it is gone... A few bugs are also gone, namely the silly thing with the 'tab' key working more or less in an odd way . And a few more changes will be made to it in the near future, so keep checking here for news if you use - and like - this freeware, ok?

'Watch' freeware has also been updated, with the addition of an 'auto-start' option to let people automatically start this small clock whenever windows starts. This was a nice suggestion from our user Chris Doig from New Zealand, so thank you Chris for taking the time to send your feedback to me.

'File Renamer' has been updated to version 1.1.4.6, with the inclusion of also keeping the history use of the 'convert to/from' option, among a few other small things, again due to the suggestion of our good friend Klaus Zimmermann .

'Agenda' has also been updated to version 1.0.1.4, thanks to Melvyn Misquita for his suggestions, with the inclusion of a couple new fields on it's database - and a few more to come when I can find the free time to do it .. Also corrected a small bug in the process.
