StockControl has been tested by Download3k.com on 25 February 2011 with 4 of the best antivirus engines available today: Avira, Kaspersky, NOD32, Bitdefender.

The report shows that this program is completely clean of any form of badware (viruses, spyware, adware, etc.). You can view the full scan report at Antivirus-Report-StockControl if you so desire.

The Industrial production and stocks control software got even better, and has been updated again, up to version 1.1.0.2.

This software is work in progress and never stops, like all from webxpace.com, and has suffered a whole lot of changes to it, although the blog annoucement has been a bit left behind here.. This time a few internal changes were introduced in order to improve speed and fiability and the interface has been updated - long due.

As you know this software is 'donationware', but that keeps it has free, really. This is a very complex piece of software and, in opposition to all other freeware, we ask you to make a donation of a simbolic amount - to keep me happy and motivated - and you will receive a full, no restrictions, copy of the software!

'Mini Calculator' has been updated to version 1.0.4.5.

This small freeware is a very unobtrusive calculator for your desktop. This time a bug has crept in and, thanks to Johnny A. that told me about it, it was immediately corrected. Simple really, but it was making the freeware unusable as the black backgroud circle was hiding the data window and preventing users from seeing the numbers displayed at all!

Download this new version, available for download for FREE - as always has been and always will be - from the freeware webpage.

'ToDo Reminder' freeware has been updated to version 1.1.5.0.

Again, it has grown a few versions already since last posting here, same reasons as bellow.. I mean, free time is not much and software gets updated but not annouced in the blog - hey, it means you must check more often for updates to the software, doesn't it?

I use this one all the time, so have been making some small changes, correcting bugs, you know.. making it better for everyone, including me!

Finally a new update to this freeware is available. It was still working ok with older IE versions, but stoped working a while back with new ones, as it seems.. Anyway, to cut a long story short, this new version can search and download pics as it is suposed to do - correctly - using all new versions of software and.. etc..

As stated bellow, a new update to 'Web Downloader' freeware is available, with version 1.1.1.0.

This version is fully Win7 (32 and 64bit) compatible. As the latest versions of Windows have UAC - user account control - that is supposed to protect users from tampering, among other stuff, with the Registry, and as this freeware is able to download anything and accepts links directly from Internet Explorer by draging and droping on it's window, I had to make some changes, namelly to let WebDownloader register itself as a 'DropTarget' in Windows Registry, for it to be able to accept the above mentioned drag and drop of links.

As it is, the first time you run the software, it will ask you to let it make a small adition to your Registry. Nothing serious, but you might get scared by Windows asking you to allow it to do the change right afterwards... No worries though, as it just adds a small key in the 'DragDrop' key of Internet Explorer.

If you don't really want to drag and drop links from IE directly to WebDownloader, just cancel it and everything else on my freeware will still work as it should, including the 'monitor the clipboard' thing

Thanks to TonyD for caring to let me know that it was showing an "I/O error 103" when exiting the freeware from a right click when minimized... What I did was just a quick hack to solve this, and will improve it in a future version.
