'ToDo Reminder' freeware update - 1.1.5.4
'ToDo Reminder' freeware has had a few more updates and is now at version 1.1.5.4.

Improvements are, among other smaller things, the ability to define text color diferentiating each and every line task, a new preference to define default 'time' to considering when adding new tasks - requested by some users - and a few more things. Note Pane - the one that shows you the note text of each task - was not scrolling correctly and long notes would not show in full, but this is now corrected also.

As always, all freeware can be downloaded from here. Keep sending your suggestions, ideas and... donations wink

Clean awards for 'File Renamer'
And as we are at it, just a small notice with a couple of links from 3rd party sites that test and make sure our freeware is secure to install and use. Among those there is the very well known Softpedia.com and also the NewFreeDownloads.com. You can go to either of those and check the full report about this great 'File Renamer' freeware smile
File Renamer             File Renamer

They say, and I'm quoting Softpedia, ... Softpedia guarantees that File Renamer 1.2.1.5 is 100% CLEAN, which means it does not contain any form of malware, including spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors.

'Mini Calculator' freeware update - 1.0.4.5
'Mini Calculator' has been updated to version 1.0.4.5.

This small freeware is a very unobtrusive calculator for your desktop. This time a bug has crept in and, thanks to Johnny A. that told me about it, it was immediately corrected. Simple really, but it was making the freeware unusable as the black backgroud circle was hiding the data window and preventing users from seeing the numbers displayed at all! sad

Download this new version, available for download for FREE - as always has been and always will be - from the freeware webpage.

'Image Downloader' freeware update - 1.0.1.0

'Web Downloader' freeware update - 1.1.1.0
As stated bellow, a new update to 'Web Downloader' freeware is available, with version 1.1.1.0.

This version is fully Win7 (32 and 64bit) compatible. As the latest versions of Windows have UAC - user account control - that is supposed to protect users from tampering, among other stuff, with the Registry, and as this freeware is able to download anything and accepts links directly from Internet Explorer by draging and droping on it's window, I had to make some changes, namelly to let WebDownloader register itself as a 'DropTarget' in Windows Registry, for it to be able to accept the above mentioned drag and drop of links.

As it is, the first time you run the software, it will ask you to let it make a small adition to your Registry. Nothing serious, but you might get scared by Windows asking you to allow it to do the change right afterwards... No worries though, as it just adds a small key in the 'DragDrop' key of Internet Explorer.

If you don't really want to drag and drop links from IE directly to WebDownloader, just cancel it and everything else on my freeware will still work as it should, including the 'monitor the clipboard' thing smile

Still, if you have any doubts or issues about this, just email me, ok?
